    I use poetry as a means to get beyond words

    I, like you, live in language. I am enthralled, enraptured, and then language alludes me.   It turns on me. It imposes on me. It frames me.   Poetics comes along offering manoeuvres I wouldn’t otherwise have.   The trick is – how not to be framed by poetics?
